Role: E-Scooter/Bike Mechanic

What we’re looking for: We are seeking an experienced e-scooter and e-bike mechanic for our repair and service centres in London (North West).

 The role includes, but is not limited to;

• Carrying out electric scooter and e-bike repairs, including fault-finding and running full diagnostics.
• Performing quality control checks on the repairs of other mechanics.
• Updating the status of repairs, quoting for repairs, taking notes from customers and leaving comments on the condition of an e-scooter or bike in our repair system.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
• Working closely with management to plan for stock and work scheduling.

The ideal candidate will;

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience fixing e-scooters, e-bike or bicycles.
• Be driven by a desire to provide exceptional customer service.
• Be able to work as part of a team and track and contribute to monthly goals.
• Have a strong ability to use electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and motor testing equipment.
• Have strong problem-solving capabilities and a desire to establish the root cause of mechanical and electrical failures in electric scooters and electric bikes.
• Have some electrical engineering background (preferable but not essential).
• Have the ability to work on their initiative and be highly motivated to succeed.
• Have strong attention to detail, especially so given the nature of the vehicle you will be working on – safety is paramount.
• Be available to work Monday to Friday (with a Saturday/Sunday a month on rotation).
