As a minimum, we recommend 350W of power for the average Joe looking to for the occasional ride in town. For heavier riders navigating longer distances and hills, we recommend upgrading to a 500w motor. We consider anything above 1000W in the performance range. You can expect speed, thrill and power on these bad boys so make sure you wear a helmet.
2) Don’t go swimming with it!
It’s true, most E-Scooters and E-Bikes can absolutely withstand the light splash of rain here and there. But always check the rating and never fully submerge any Scooter in water. For peace of mind, all our Scooters are splash-proof meaning you’d have no problem riding them in light rain.
3) UK looking to Legalise E-Scooters
We have some great news! The UK government is assessing the positive impact of electric scooters and looking at ways to make them legal. Currently E-Scooters are only allowed on Private Land in the UK. But many European countries have allowed their use so why not purchase one and take on your next holiday?
4) Bigger Wheels = Smoother Ride
Wheel or Tyre size is actually more important than you might think. For the most comfortable ride, we recommend 10 inch tyres that are air-filled to provide cushion and soft navigation over bumps on the road.
5) Don’t Buy Poor Quality Rides
