  I recently visited this repair shop to fix my partners scooter, which was not working. The shop initially quoted her £190 for the repair. Upon picking up the scooter, my partner noticed significant issues: the screen was cracked … More around the edges, the scooter was linked to an unknown account (suggesting they may have replaced the on-board computer with one from a different scooter), and the green accelerator panel was damaged. The wiring was not fixed correctly and was dangerous.
  Furthermore, the wiring repair was poorly executed. Instead of using a protective sheath, they only applied electrical tape. This leaves the wires exposed, especially concerning given their proximity to the ground and potential exposure to rain. This is very dangerous and causes harm.
  When my partner raised these concerns, the shop staff were dismissive. They only engaged seriously when I intervened. They claimed the screen damage was necessary for removal and insisted I should pay for this damage. Additionally, they were unaware of what an electrical sheath was and wrongly believed that electrical tape was sufficient.
  Their only proposed solution was to revert the controller change and offer a refund, without addressing the damage they caused.
  I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of work and customer service. I would not recommend this repair shop to others. They do not know what they are doing with scooters and seem like a cowboy outfit.
  Update - The 3 Asian men at the shop completely dismissed my partner when she paid for the repair and raised the concerns, they ignored her and I came in to discuss the matter, they get very defensive and said they had the scratch the screen to repair the controller, I recorded the whole incident on my phone so their response is invalid and we have video to prove what they said. They didn't fix the cable, they put electrical tape only, didn't water proof the cabling with electrical sheathing so any water will go on the wire, they said they would charge more to do this, even though they ripped out the old sheath protector to fix the cable. We are working professionals who got ripped off by these cowboys. this all happened 18th June.
  Update to response - there is no racism towards you or your staff, your incompetence is on show. You did not fix the scooter as you can see from the pictures you did not replace the water proof sheathing over the electrical wiring at all you put tape over wires!! You replaced the co troller with a used one from another scooter that is locked to someone else's account. You are a cowboy outfit who does not know what they are doing. Again I video taped the interaction when we were in your store so be very careful of false allegations towards us as your incompetence was recorded. I've added photos of this and will upload the video of the interaction. I am also raising this with trading standards who will also be sharing the video with and making screenshots of your false allegation reply, thank you for that.
